As a responsible global corporate citizen, Taiwan Spunlace is actively implementing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives across its operations and industry value chain. We aim to continually contribute positive momentum to society.

Environmental Contribution

Renewable Resources

Taiwan Spunlace uses rayon in its non-woven fabrics, derived from plant fibers typically sourced from renewable cellulose resources such as wood, bamboo, or cotton. This makes rayon a renewable resource.

Biodegradability

Our rayon and ECOLACE products are biodegradable, meaning they break down quickly after disposal, causing much less environmental impact compared to synthetic fibers.

Water Conservation

Rayon production generally requires less water than some synthetic fibers, helping reduce water consumption and pollution.

Reuse

Our fabric products are versatile and reusable in various forms, and even waste material can be repurposed, reducing the amount of waste requiring disposal.

Social Responsibility

Stakeholder Identification and Communication

To pursue sustainable development and maximize shareholder benefits, our General Manager‘s Office organizes cross-departmental involvement to identify stakeholders' key ESG concerns. Following the AA1000 SES:2015 Stakeholder Engagement Standard, we apply five principles—dependency, responsibility, interest, influence, and diverse perspectives—to identify primary stakeholders, including shareholders/investors, customers, suppliers/contractors, employees, government agencies, and local community members. Based on the interests of these six stakeholder groups, we maintain open channels for timely responses, making communication more efficient.

Corporate Governance

We bring together top mechanical and electronic engineers, process planners, biochemical technicians, and a dedicated sales team to provide the highest level of products and services to our clients. We continually develop new products, apply for patents, and uphold our social responsibility commitments through formal agreements.
